Visit their authentic 14th century tent encampment to see demonstrations of everything from cooking to sewing, spinning to smithing, knights preparing for battle and civilians going about daily life. Their Knights in shining armor swinging swords!  www.livingbackwards.ca Khanate of Himorii -  is a group of re-enactors that celebratees Yurtthe ages of the Horse Lords. From Ancient Sarmations, through the Scourage of the Huns, and ending with the Golden Age of the Silk Road. Our troupe is a multi-cultural, multi-age group that explores many aspects of nomadic culture from 27 BC to 1350 AD. Come explore the yurt, listen to a whistling arrow and watch some Mongolian wrestling!   All Saints Medieval Fellowship - is an ecclesiastical organization in Alberta, providing a social environment for teaching ancient arts to its members, and providing entertainment and history lessons to the public. As a government recognized authority, it also provides the ability to its members in attaining legal accredited knighthood, classes in western martial arts, and enables the chance for its members, to work towards degrees in various ancient skills, and provides seminary training for anyone wanting it. All Saints Medieval Fellowship is incredibly proud to be asked to provide entertainment for Brooks Medieval Faire this year! Look for us riding dragons, stuck in giant cages, surrounded by fairies, healing diseases, engaging the public with puppets shows, Muzak, living statues and playing medieval games. www.allsaintsmedieval.com       Armor Bytes - Kids armor display, kids mock combat, tent dispay, chariot races, racl and stocks! This is their third year at the Faire and kids love it, they get to dress up in various armor (hockey and other sports padding) and are taught chivalry and the art of combat! All with supervision and no injuries! Gladiators    Ludus Sanguinis re-enactment group focues on Roman age Gladiatorial Combat. Founded in Calgary in 2002, the gladiators started as a way of doing combat display for the Roman LEG XXI. facebook.com/Ludus Sanguinis   National Chivalric Combat Federation will be doing some full contact medieval sparring & combat in 2014 is now the National Chivalric Combat Federation and their back in 2016 with a tournament named BATTLE of BROOKS at their own fighting eric. nccfcanada.wix.com/nccf Lethbridge Medieval Club - They've been coming for a couple of years now with other groups and decided to add to the living village this year with their own tents. Dragon' Own

Dragon's Own - A group of medieval entertainers who seek to provide an enjoyable medieval experience. By combining historical realism with a touch of fantasy, and just a little poetic license, we provide a show that will thrill and entertain young and old alike. Unlike historic re-enactment societies, the Dragon's Own use real weapons in battle, relying on extensive training and skills to bring medieval combat and tournament to life.  They are also ground crew for the Jousting Tournament. www.dragonsown.ca   Super Nova Circus   Come one, come all to see the amazing circus spectacles presented by Super Nova Circus. Enjoy watching these incredible comedy acts, juggling skills, magical feats, surprises, and dare we say… something dangerous! A show that will entertain all ages while demonstrating unique and impressive talents, this one is a show not to be missed. We’ll be performing three times throughout the day, with extra dangerous acts presented in our final show of the day. Come with us and run away to the circus! It is a non-profit association run by volunteers and parents of Highland dancers.  Since its beginnings in 1981, MHHDA has hosted competitions, workshops, tours and events. He loves entertaining and takes every opportunity to connect his audiences to the wonderful worlds of myth, legend, folklore, fables, and historical stories from Scotland and Far Away Lands.   

Knygts Erraunt - A new addition to our ever expanding Living Village! The Knygts Erraunt of Edmonton aim to bring people together who are interested in the Middle Ages and help them express their interest in a creative way. To reach a high level of accuracy in our living history expressions, we study contemporary texts, paintings and other sources. We share our knowledge with each other during weekly meetings and training sessions. We also share what we've learned with spectators at living history events where we display a range of activities, including cooking, fighting and various handicrafts. www.knygts-erraunt.com Red Stags of Red Deer - Another new addition to the Living Village with various medieval items for sale and medieval activities to entertain you. greendragonp.wix.com/redstags We have L.A.R.P. (Live Action Role Playing) back this year with Alliance Calgary! Our world is one of “high fantasy” akin to Lord of the Rings and Dungeons and Dragons. Players create medieval fantasy characters to enter our world and face the wonders, trials and conflicts that our plot team comes up with. Our slogan is “Be All You Can’t Be!” To join the adventure 18+ in age is a $10 fee, participants will enjoy 3 to 4 hours of interaction. For younger kids aged 10+, with parental consent, an opportunity to "Fight a Monster/Bad Guy" for a fee of $5.     Both of these options will require a waiver to be signed.

  The Shire of Rhuddglyn is the Medicine Hat and Brooks chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) which is an international, non-profit society dedicated to research and re-creation of the Middle Ages and Renaissance. We have been creating unique and costume entertainment since 2007 providing shows and roving characters for festivals, galas, staff parties, birthday parties and more. Fire Dancers, Stilt Walkers, Jugglers, Magicians, Contortionists and many more!     Alberta Birds of Prey Centre is Canada's largest birds of prey facility located in Coaldale, Alberta. Check out the competition on the Performance Stage on Saturday!  The Merrie Minstrel Finkleman A minstrel during his Twenties who married in his Thirties and taught in his Forties.  Paul was born in the Fifites, raised in the Sixties, traveled in the Seventies, settled down in the Eighties, and spent the Nineties working on Hundreds of creative projects in the New Millenium.Finkleman He grew up as one of Nine children, has written over Eight hundred songs, recorded over Seven CD's composed Six musicals, preformed at over Five Hundred schools, published Four Songbooks, written Three hundred poems, Two hundred song parodies and is One talented man. HibikiyaHibikiya Hibikiya has been performing the traditional art form of Japanese Taiko (drumming) since 2008. Supported by the Southern Alberta Taiko Society. Hibikiya receives its music directly from Suijin Kaminari Daiko, a renowed Taiko group in Towada City, Japan (Lethbridge's sister city). Under the direction of Sensi, Bryan Pereverseff, Hibikiya has performed at numerous events including the Lethbridge Dragonboat Festival, Lethbridge Whoop-up Days Parade, Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens, the Omatsuire Festival in Calgary, as well as  Canada Day celebrations in Edmonton.
